About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting employees, enhancing workplace culture, and ensuring HR operations run smoothly. You’ll play a critical role in driving a positive new hires and employee experience, with a strong focus on onboarding, HR operations, payroll coordination, and compliance.

Requirements

Own and manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all new hires

Draft accurate, compliant offer letters in coordination with compensation guidelines and internal policies

Partner with the recruiting team to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience through to their first day of employment

Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters

Collaborate with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to prepare onboarding schedules and welcome materials

Support the Payroll department by ensuring accurate and timely submission of employee data changes, new hire entries, and timekeeping information

Administer and manage the unemployment claim process, including responding to claims, attending hearings if necessary, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

Partner with HR and leadership on employee engagement initiatives, retention strategies, and organizational development

Experience with administer and support full-cycle HR processes, including offboarding, benefits, leaves of absence, and performance management

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS

Conduct investigations and support conflict resolution efforts when needed

Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs, training, and initiatives

Analyze HR data and generate reports to inform decision-making

Demonstrate openness and eagerness to take on new HR projects and initiatives as assigned by HR leadership

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field

5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role

Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance

Demonstrated experience in managing onboarding processes, supporting payroll, and handling unemployment claims

Experience with HRIS platforms

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
