Job Description Summary:
Assesses, develops, and implements behavioral intervention services for patients with intellectual or developmental disabilities, disruptive behavior disorders, or significant challenging behavior in the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit.

Essential Functions:
Conducts assessments of patients' behavioral and emotional needs.
Develops and implements individualized behavioral intervention service plans. Monitors and documents patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as needed.
Trains and coaches the treatment team to implement designated teaching procedures.
Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and connection to ongoing services.
Performs data collection and analysis for patient specific plans and site-wide procedures.
Provides education and support to patients and their families.
Education Requirement:
Master’s Degree in psychology or a related field, or equivalent education or certification and experience, required.

Certifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst(BCBA), preferred.
Skills:
Ability to work independently, be self-directed and manage schedule in accordance with clinical standards.
Ability to work with behaviorally challenging children and adolescents in an inpatient setting.
Experience:
Two years of direct experience with populations who present with disruptive behavior disorders or intellectual and developmental disabilities, required.
