Job Overview

Data Modeler/PowerBI Lead: As our Data Modeler and PowerBI Lead, you will play a central role in transforming data from multiple systems into actionable insights through advanced data modeling and dynamic Power BI reports/dashboards. You will collaborate across teams—including data integration specialists and business stakeholders—to design and maintain robust data models and deliver impactful reports. Your ability to translate business requirements into intuitive visualizations and reliable models will drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

Supporting data-driven initiatives through clean, accurate, and optimized data models and visualizations.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business analysis and reporting.

Create and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.

Develop and optimize DAX calculations and measures for insightful analytics.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.

Maintain data dictionaries and metadata to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Monitor report performance and troubleshoot issues in Power BI solutions.

Ensure compliance with data security standards and governance practices.

Provide user support and training to empower data-driven decision-making.

Stay informed on Power BI updates, data modeling techniques, and industry trends.

Education – Experience Required

Minimum 3 years of experience in data modeling and Power BI development.

Advanced proficiency in Power BI including dashboard/report design and DAX.

Strong knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and extraction.

Understanding of data warehouse concepts and relational databases.

Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Adaptability in a fast-paced, changing business environment.
