JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYGreystar Australia is on the lookout for an ambitious and detail-driven Corporate Accountant to join our growing finance team. Commencing as a 12 month fixed term contract, you will play a critical part of the finance team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing insightful financial reports, and supporting the Corporate Finance Manager in driving continuous improvement across the business.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Prepare and analyse key financial reports – balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain clean, accurate financial data

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes

Support external audits and provide required documentation

Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes

Identify and implement process improvements within corporate finance

Help shape accounting policies and procedures for long-term success

Provide insightful financial analysis to help drive strategic decisions

To be successful in this role, you should have skills including:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

CA/CPA certification essential

Demonstrated experience in corporate accounting or a similar finance role gained within Big 4 or large multinational

Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations

Hands-on experience with accounting systems – Oracle is a plus!

Exceptional analytical skills and keen attention to detail

Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to tell a story with numbers
