SEO Conversion Strategist is responsible for strategizing, planning and managing the successful implementation and optimization of monetizing our web traffic in our collection of lead and sales generating websites. Additionally, this position will be responsible for auditing and analyzing the performance of content and conversion methods in attracting visitors and qualifying them as potential conversion opportunities across our websites and services. The ideal candidate will be analytical, adaptable, motivated and performance-driven. This individual will work with a team of content, ecommerce and development specialists to implement approved strategies.
SEO Conversion Strategist responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Leverage analytics tools to develop documentation and visualizations of implied and engineered funnels
Understand and document attribution paths for products, services and informational resources on various company owned websites
Analyze common attribution paths, demographics and other data components to determine high-performing funnels to develop strategic opportunities for growth
Support and influence business units and team goals for increased traffic and conversions
Analyze and develop strong calls to action and user interaction for improved conversions
Seek opportunities based on market trends and conditions in recommending setting and adjusting service and product pricing
Strategize and recommend new products and services for improved conversions based on key data indicators of visitor actions
Evaluate and determine successful competitive strategies for opportunities
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3–5 years relevant experience in Digital Marketing or eCommerce
Experience working with SEO tools like SEMrush, Wordpress, RankMath, Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Previous SEM & PPC Experience preferred
Excellent copywriting and editing skills; strong verbal communicator and presenter
Experience using Google Drive and Docs
Ability to produce short-form ad copy and long-form SEO content
Self-directed and collaborative – ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team as necessary
Strong organizational skills with ability to work effectively with changing priorities and processes
Previous experience working in supply chain or transportation industry a plus
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and inter-personal skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with people in all levels of the organization
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing unmatched customer service
