What will be your main function, and you will collaboration with:
The purchasing coordinator is responsible for following up purchase order confirmations on a day-to-day basis with suppliers of goods and services to ensure timely delivery. S/he supports business in supplier selection and requests for prices/ quotation as needed from existing supplier pool, while ensuring that discounts and favorable terms are leveraged.
The purchasing coordinator works closely with unit sourcing team members and escalate potential needs for additional suppliers to Sourcing. The purchasing coordinator can communicate in required local language with suppliers and internal employees to ensure requirements are delivered on time and process is completed.
The purchasing coordinator reports to the Country Procurement Manager
Daily Responsibilities:
Monitors purchase requisitions ensuring compliance with preferred/approved suppliers, correct material and supplier master data
Supports requestors from business to find right suppliers and clarifies item prices and conditions utilizing framework agreements established by Sourcing
Monitors order confirmation deviations, clarifies and updates POs accordingly
Follows up continuous overdue GR posting reasons with management
Clarifies invoice matching deviations for PO related invoices.
Handles day-to-day supplier issues in collaboration with purchasing administrators and business requestors.
Monitors automated processes with supply lines and handles exceptions escalated by purchasing administrators or other.
Ensures compliance and adherence to KONE policies and procedures, including and notably the PO policy
Ensures compliance with quality, safety and environmental standard
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
Have 2–3 years of experience in a similar role. However, we also welcome applicants from other backgrounds who have prior experience working in a multinational company.
Candidates must demonstrate strong integrity, honesty, and adhere to the KONE Code of Conduct policy
Strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivated, creative, able to multitask, and perform well under pressure
Good communication skills in both spoken and written English
Skilled in stakeholder management, change management, and project management
