About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to join our team in Geri-Psych department. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and monitor patient progress. Your attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure will be essential in this role.
Minimum Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of employment
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
BLS or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in a specialized area of nursing
Experience with electronic medical records Responsibilities:
Assessing and evaluating patient needs and developing care plans
Assesses the clinical performance of nursing staff under his/her direction in collaboration with the Nurse Manager
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical history
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
Participates in multidisciplinary treatment staffing. Participates in the development of treatment plans.
