Responsibilities * Work directly with owner to constantly improve public bidding process and program.

* Evaluate IFB's, ITB's, RFQ's and RFP's and make recommendation on what opportunities we should pursue.

* Aggressively and accurately cost our projects to keep costs as competitive as possible.

* Communicate with qualified subcontractors and suppliers to achieve competitive pricing.

* Evaluate sequence of work and scope of work to ensure costing and production are accurate.

* Work with InEight to create proposals.

* Work with in house BD and Marketing team to evaluate and pursue public civil opportunities.

* Evaluate results of opportunities to obtain information in making future decisions.

* Attend pre-bid meetings and submit questions to owner.

* Work with Operations team members to determine production rates for tasks.

* Hand off awarded projects to Operations team.

Required Qualifications: * 3 years civil estimating experience.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Basic math skills with understanding of material types used & labor/equipment resources.

* Familiarity with Bluebeam and/or Excel.

* InEight software experience preferred but not required.
