MEP TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented MEP Technician to join our Maintenance team. The ideal candidate

Will be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in our hotel. The role demands strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple types of systems and equipment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

· Installation & Maintenance:

· Install, test, and commission mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems according to HOTEL specifications and building codes.

· Perform routine and preventive maintenance on MEP systems, ensuring they are operating efficiently.

· Ensure all installations and systems comply with safety regulations and standards.

Troubleshooting & Repairs:

· Diagnose and repair issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

· Respond promptly to system breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.

· Troubleshoot electrical circuits, lighting, and HVAC systems.

System Testing & Calibration:

· Perform system tests to verify proper functionality of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

· Adjust or calibrate system components to ensure maximum efficiency and performance.

Health & Safety Compliance

· Adhere to all safety regulations and standards during installation and repair tasks.

· Ensure that all equipment and tools are in good working condition.

· Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

· Collaboration & Communication:

· Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other technicians to ensure smooth

Inventory & Tools Management

· Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials for MEP work.

· Monitor inventory levels and request replenishment as needed.

Skills

· Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

· Certification: Certification or training in MEP-related fields (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is preferred.

· Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and performs repairs with precision.
