National Grid Renewables is seeking a IT Manager – Data and Development to join our growing Information Technology Team.

The candidate in this role will be a strategic partner responsible for supporting our internal customers’ needs.

This role will be hybrid, which will require the person to be on site 3 days a week and when needed to help support the team.

The individual in this position must have an interest in managing others and previous management experience is a plus.

The ideal candidate will also be able demonstrate an understanding of data and development best practices to determine strategy and achieve departmental objectives.

This role will provide daily management and thought leadership within the Information Technology team to execute timely and compliant delivery of company initiatives, from inception through onboarding & offboarding.

Engage with various internal teams to drive successful timely delivery of business initiatives.

Role · Oversee enterprise data platforms and software development.

· Works with departments across the Company to identify data and development needs.

· Collaborates with product teams to ensure our data and development efforts are directly supporting product initiatives.

· Enforce data security and privacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Establishes direction and determines processes and best practices for team functions.

· Monitors business results and works proactively to uncover trends and recommend actions to improve results for underperforming segments of a book of business.

· Coaches, trains, and develops direct reports to ensure performance objectives and milestones are met.

· Effectively communicate insights to customers in a clear and concise manner.

· Assesses staffing needs on an ongoing basis to ensure organizational analytics needs can be met.

· Identifies, develops, and initiates innovations and solutions where precedents and procedures may not exist.

· Applies knowledge and experiences to solve broad scope and complex problems.

· Identifies and analyzes patterns from partial and/or conflicting data, and finds, and recommends solutions.

Background and Skills · Bachelor’s degree in management/computer information systems (MIS/CIS), Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering, business intelligence, data science, or development.

· Demonstrated ability to coach, direct, and develop individuals and teams.

· Excellent presentation skills with proven ability to communicate complex technical information in a way that is easily understood by others.

· Experience implementing and operating Software Development Life Cycle programs.

· Strategic thinking and planning skills.

· Ability to build and maintain relationships.

· Strong negotiation skills.

· Sound judgment and conflict resolution skills.

· Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical partners.

· Strong organization and facilitation skills.

· Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

· Proficient use of various core systems, office and computer equipment, and software packages.

Pay Range for the posted level: $140,000 - $210,000 We offer a comprehensive benefit package, including Medical, Dental, 401(k) and disability benefits.
