About the Role
True North Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly organized Service Manager to lead and oversee our service operations. This key leadership role ensures our technicians deliver top-tier service, safety, and professionalism to customers across the region. You'll manage dispatching, technician performance, quoting, invoicing, and cross-department coordination - all while fostering a strong team culture built on communication, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all service-related work performed at customer locations
Manage dispatch operations and coordination between teams
Supervise, support, and evaluate service technicians
Generate service quotes and ensure timely completion of jobs
Review service invoices and handle any customer disputes
Oversee commissioning and warranty procedures (Gilbarco, Verifone, etc.)
Approve technician and dispatch time cards
Organize technician on-call schedules
Conduct annual performance reviews and provide technician training Qualifications
Education & Experience:
No degree required
Minimum of 3 years of industry or field service experience preferred
Background in petroleum services, POS systems, or field dispatch is a plus Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
Clear, professional communication with internal teams and customers
Ability to drive process improvements and implement change successfully
Detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards and integrity
