Lean Manufacturing Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lean Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of our manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong background in Six Sigma methodologies, lean manufacturing principles, waste reduction strategies, and process optimization techniques.
Responsibilities
Facilitate continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
Implement lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, value stream mapping, and standard work, to streamline processes and eliminate non-value-added activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, establish goals, and develop action plans to achieve measurable results
Conduct thorough analysis of manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and production metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Establish optimal floor layout for product lines and incoming projects for batch production. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent experience
Experience with AutoCAD & SAP ERP System
Minimum of 3 years of experience in lean manufacturing with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization
Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and practices, including value stream mapping, 5S, kanban, and visual management
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels of the organization
