Its flagship product the FieldPrinter™ is an industry transformative product that automates the layout process for construction projects. The company supports a fleet of robots that is deployed on construction sites across North America to increase the quality and predictability of building projects.

Its leading solution ensures design integrity in the field through a streamlined BIM-to-field process. It delivers a combination of hardware, software and services by printing digital models directly on the jobsite floor with 1/16” of accuracy based directly on Revit or AutoCAD models.

Dusty has raised over $69M from top-tier venture capital firms including Scale Venture Partners, Baseline Ventures, Canaan, NextGen Venture Partners, and Root Ventures. Our customers include some of the largest names in the construction industry, including DPR, JE Dunn, and Skanska.

We are now looking for first dedicated Revit Software Engineer to join our world class Engineering team.

Responsibilities

Own all aspects of AutoCAD and Revit at Dusty

Handle conflicting information in Revit models

Develop heuristics to handle malformed models.

Develop full test coverage from unit to integration tests

Documentation of all development activities and test plans and results

Requirements

Knowledge of the Revit and AutoCAD APIs and usage for task automation, developing custom tools

Scripting and programming on the .NET framework, using C#

Creation and maintenance of custom plug-ins to add custom functionality for Revit and AutoCAD

Knowledge of Revit parameters, including instance, type, and global parameters, is crucial for creating flexible and intelligent families

Leveraging parametric design capabilities allows for automated changes and modifications in the model, ensuring consistency and accuracy

Familiarity with construction industry and use of Revit and AutoCAD for construction

Excellent test-driven development and software lifecycle management skills and practices
