Process Engineer, Jr

Seeking a Process Engineer, Jr for an electronics manufacturer serving the various industries including aerospace and defense, medical, and communication market.

The ideal candidate will have a technical engineering background with excellent programming software skills. Training will be provided.

What you will do:

Work with all departments of the facility to design, implement, monitor, improve and maintain the manufacturing process. This includes assisting with the introduction and implementation of key manufacturing initiatives which will drive continuous improvement at all levels of the facility.

Implement process improvements to achieve continuous improvement in yield, quality, cost, and productivity

Implement lean practices, quality and yield metrics

Capacity planning

Establish new or improved systems for sales order ingest, backlog management, production planning, raw material ordering, and subcontractor management

Specify new or replacement equipment, investigates costs, and determines ROI for continuous improvement.

Specify equipment preventative maintenance procedures

Establishes quality related process monitors Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Electrical manufacturing background

Knowledge and understanding of programming software (Cad, Cam)

Ability to read drawings

Excellent communication skills

Understanding of the manufacturing process

Translate drawings into the actual production process

Data management and planning

Create process aids & fixtures

Software programming for various equipment
