We are working closely with a company headquartered in Columbus to identify an IT Director. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities
Lead the IT department's operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources
Continue to build out the technology infrastructure by determining the best course of action to fill gaps with technology the support business needs
Manage financial aspects of the IT department, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review
Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals, and Custom applications
Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provisions
Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.
Approve and oversee projects and project portfolio Qualifications
10+ years IT management experience
Possess excellent communication skills and have a desire to work with other people in a team environment
Must have the ability to take direction give direction and be able to work under stressful situations
Very strong technical and leadership skills
