Power Bi Architect

Job Title: Power BI Architect / Lead (Hands on)

Location: Remote 100%

Duration: 12+ Months

MUST HAVE: Healthcare is a must, and after 2021

Responsibilities

· Lead the overall Power BI solution architecture for the migration project.

· Define best practices for Power BI development, deployment, and governance.

· Design and implement complex Power BI data models and reports.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Power BI team

· Ensure performance optimization and scalability of Power BI solutions.

· Oversee the migration of existing MicroStrategy and WebFocus reports to Power BI.

· Work with the data engineers to validate the data within snowflake and Teradata.

· Hands on experience developing BI Dashboards and reports using multiple BI tools like Power BI, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Tableau and WebFocus

Skills to Have

· Strong leadership and communication skills.

· Deep understanding of Power BI architecture and development.

· Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

· Experience with data warehousing, data modelling, and ETL processes.

· Knowledge of Teradata and Snowflake databases.

· Experience with report migration projects.

· Solve complex migration problems, technical bottlenecks,

· Use Microsoft CoPilot for power BI for generating faster code.

· Outstanding SQL skills and experience performing deep data analysis on multiple database platforms.

Tools and technologies (Must Have )

Power BI (Desktop, Service, Report Server), Data Engineering, Snowflake, Teradata, MicroStrategy, Tabular Editor, Advanced SQL skills.

Technologies (Good to Have):

o Azure cloud platform

o Python
