In this exciting role, you will leverage your existing industry connections and persistent drive to open doors and secure lucrative purchase contracts. Direct Industry Experience is a Plus, Eagerness to Learn Even More Valuable: We value your existing industry connections but prioritize your drive and ability to learn. You will Excel If You Have: A minimum of 2-3+ years of successful sales experience (preferred, but not mandatory), with a proven track record of exceeding quotas in a commission-based environment and you enjoy getting an early start to a successful day.
A pleasantly persistent approach to opening doors to new sales opportunities both by phone and in the field (daily). Are you a proficient networker who thrives on building relationships.
A strong work ethic and the ability to manage your own time effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently showcase the value of our stone and tile imports for discerning clients/customers. The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a CRM system (a plus). A valid driver's license and willingness to travel for daily prospecting & meetings (you will be required to drive throughout the region/local area for meetings).
