The Erlanger Public Works Department will be accepting applications for a Project Administrator.

Position Summary
The Public Works Project Administrator is responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation and execution of capital projects while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitment, and goals of the City of Erlanger. Additional duties/work tasks may be assigned as deemed necessary by the Department Director or Project Manager.
Essential Functions
The Department's point of contact, performs all necessary tracking and initial investigative work on all citizens complaints.
Provides mentoring and leadership training as assigned.
Maintains files and project folders
Oversees completion of special projects, as directed.
Acts on behalf of the Project Manager, in his absence or as directed
Assists with coordination/management of winter operations, as directed.
Inspects/manages capital projects, as directed, and maintains working relationships with contractors.
Attends meetings/participates with special committees, as directed by the Director of Public Works or Project Manager.
Coordinates general departmental purchases that align with a defined budget
Reviews and updates the departments SOP’s
Inspects street and sidewalk repairs to include capital replacement projects
Manages certain budget line items.
Assist with all City Public Workshops.
Meets with contractors and/or utility representatives to address issues or concerns
Monitors departments portion of City’s web-page.
Carries out duties related to codes.
Position Qualifications
The City of Erlanger is seeking qualified candidates for the Project Administrator position who are competent self-starting individuals that conduct themselves in a positive manner, are trustworthy and reliable to others. Must have exceptional time management skills, fundamental computer competency and strong technical abilities. Desired candidates shall be extremely detail-oriented and possess strong communication skills—both verbal and written.

Valid Driver's License
High School Diploma/GED
