Worship Team Lead, Victory Mannford

Position Status: Part-Time

Classification: Non-exempt

SUMMARY

The Victory Mannford Worship leader is responsible for oversight, coordination and assisting to build the Mannford Worship Team. Responsibilities of this role will include: scheduling volunteers, building set lists, attending and coordinating worship practice and services on a weekly basis, leading worship/playing an instrument as needed. The Victory Mannford Worship Team Lead will be a Victory Worship employee with shared supervision and management from the Victory Mannford Pastoral team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee, coordinate, and build the Victory Mannford Worship Team.

Meet with Victory Mannford Pastors to coordinate services in line with annual, monthly, and weekly schedules and sermons.

Participate in weekly services for Victory Mannford by leading, coordinating and leading vocals/play instrument (as needed).

Develop positive relationships with team members, students, and other volunteers.

Instruct and monitor volunteers and team members in the use of musical materials and equipment.

Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.

Provide appropriate feedback to other worship team members.

Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by Victory Worship regulations.

Establish and communicate clear objectives for all worship events and services.

Demonstrate preparation and skill in working with students from diverse cultural, economic and ability backgrounds.

Attend Weekly Victory Worship staff meetings at Central Campus

Attend/serve at Victory events as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred.

2 years' experience in a worship environment including: playing a musical instrument, leading songs vocally, and managing a worship team (volunteer or paid)

Good communication, problem solving, and priority setting skills as well as maintaining an overall positive and professional attitude /disposition.

Ability to effectively plan, organize and implement worship activities.

Relevant knowledge in the related field.

Sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, stooping, walking, and the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds to move worship equipment

Ability to stand for long periods of time to lead worship.

Ability to lead songs for the worship team.
