Job Description

*** This is a Safety Sensitive Position under the Medicinal Marijuana Provisions of the State of Arkansas

PURPOSE

Operates plastic sheet extrusion equipment in the manufacture of plastic sheet for food packaging.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operates and maintains plastic extrusion lines in the manufacture of plastic sheet for food packaging.

Understands the processes and controls.

Operates all measuring equipment to maintain good quality.

Understands the difference in raw materials and how to identify them.

Understands the process centerline book.

Maintains all production and quality reports.

Keeps area and equipment clean.

Maintains control of materials and inventory.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

MATH ABILITY

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Basic Computer Skills needed.
