CLYNK is looking for a Seasonal Part-time Driver & Material Mover on Day shift to join our team for our busy summer season! CLYNK is a fast paced recycling and bottle redemption company recognized for being innovators and leaders in our industry. We are the fastest growing mode of beverage container recycling and the most requested option by consumers. Our patented technology supports recycling at a massive scale, not only at CLYNK but in other states and even parts of Canada. We operate over 100 "bag-drop" depots across Maine and New York, with processing facilities located in Maine and New York. CLYNK's popularity and demand continues to result in growth into new markets and new states. Your contributions will substantially impact our ability to maintain operations and drive new growth.

The Driver & Material Mover (CDL not required) is responsible for collecting customer bags from our retail depot locations using a combination of CLYNK vehicles, primarily box trucks. You must be able to safely operate any of the vehicles we use and complete routes safely and efficiently. You will interact daily with customers and CLYNK facility staff. You will be the face of CLYNK and must represent our brand with professionalism at all times. It is imperative that all drivers are mature, trustworthy, and dependable. You must be able to handle the physical aspects of the job, loading customer bags into trucks at the stores and unloading bags back at the processing facility. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in labor intensive work. Prior box truck experience is not required but is a plus.

Essential Functions:

Safely drive company vehicle to each depot on assigned route

Load and unload your vehicle independently

Collect bags and load trucks efficiently to maximize capacity and minimize damage to bags

Operate our trucks safely and efficiently adhering to all state laws and DOT regulations

Follow daily run sheet servicing all stops, picking up allotted bag amounts at each stop

Log pickup volumes at every depot/store

Conduct daily pre-trip inspections, reporting all issues to management or leasing company

Report kiosk or store issues to dispatcher or CLYNK help desk

Follow proper lifting techniques to ensure you are working safely

Keep truck in clean condition including interior cab

Requirements

Valid Class C license

Overall clean driving record in order to be insured; must maintain insurance throughout employment

Ability to represent CLYNK in a friendly and professional manner to customers and store associates

Willingness to be part of a team and help out when neededRequirements:

Pre-employment screening: Must have a valid Class C license and overall clean driving record.

Physical requirements: Able to sit and stand for long periods of time. Ability to push, pull, lift, twist, turn, bend, kneel, squat, bend, and climb. Must be able to repetitively lift bags weighing up to 60lbs.

Schedule: A set schedule of 3 shifts averaging 10 hours per shift (Tuesdays - Thursdays). Seasonal assignment is projected to end on or by October 6, 2025.

Location: You will start and finish your day at our facility in Oakland, ME

Travel: To Maine depots/stores as stated in job description.
