Material Handler: Loves Park, IL

Our client in Loves Park, Illinois is looking for a hard-working, energetic individual to join their team as a Material Handler. It is the Material Handler’s responsibility to move and place material, packages, and other production items to ensure other personnel can stay on task throughout the production cycle.

Responsibilities of the Material Handler:

Load and unload trucks

Safely operate forklift truck (after trained and certified)

Pick, pull, and place product in storage

Ensure production work stations have material, packaging, and other items as tasked

Move product from work stations to next process step

Keep warehouse and wire room of stored product, material, and packaging are organized and accessible.

Material Handler Requirements and Qualifications:

Must have reliable transportation

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Must have basic math and computer skills

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. occasionally

Must be able to work hours assigned and occasional overtime

Pay for Material Handler: $14.50/hour based on experience.

Material Handler Benefits:

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 5:30am - 4:00pm.
