Vice President Operations (Manufacturing-Bilingual Spanish)

We are a growing food manufacturing organization with a strong customer service focus seeking an Operations Leader.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership to manufacturing functions, focused on safety in operations, product quality, efficiency, production scheduling and inventory management.

Lead work priorities/timelines and allocate resources to assure assigned plant goals and timelines are met.

Identify, prioritize, and implement key manufacturing systems, policies and projects to ensure all products manufactured meet critical quality attributes and specifications, and successfully collaborate cross-functionally to ensure each operational unit has the appropriate resource support to ensure success.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards (e.g., FDA, GMP, NSF).

Refine systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets.

Leads and develops a strong daily management process with production team to deliver on operational KPIs and business financials.

Responsible for overseeing first and second shift production

Qualifications/ Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a Engineering, Science or similar field.

Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in food & beverage, pharmaceutical, nutritional supplements preferred.

Minimum five years leadership experience preferred.

Exhibit sound knowledge and experience of the food manufacturing market or food & beverage.

Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma experience is a plus

Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Compensation based on experience. Salary $225,000 plus bonus.
