Job Description
As a Lifeguard & Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for the safety of our members in the pool area. This position will assist in the teaching of swim lessons and help to keep our pool clean and accessible.
Responsibilities
Patrol and monitor the pool by actively scanning the water and watching members to ensure their wellbeing while swimming.
Rescue distressed persons, using rescue techniques and equipment.
Maintain quality of pool water by testing chemical levels such as pH and chlorine.
Examine injured persons and administer first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, if necessary, using training and medical supplies and equipment.
Instruct swim lessons through interactive means (optional, WSI certification required to teach swim lessons).
Qualifications
Able to swim, tread water, instruct classes and perform rescue procedures if necessary.
Previous experience teaching Red Cross swim lessons for participants of ages 6 months and up.
Valid CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications. Water Safety Instructor preferred.
Must be 18 years old
Available to work a schedule of Mondays-Fridays 5:30am-12PM, potential to adjust the days.

$15/HR. Lifeguard, $20 Instructor (Must work at least 1 lifeguard shift)
