Job Description
Responsibilities:
· Use Edgecam Software to model cutting path and program machines according
· Perform Program, Set-Up & Tear Down Operations on Horizontal & Vertical Mills (Haas)
· Adjust and reprogram controls at machine cell; knowledge of G-Codes and M-Codes
· Complete set-ups involving bolting fixtures and jaws, setting, and adjusting tools, calculate feeds and speeds, checking dimensions on set-up piece, and making final tool adjustments
· Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
· Read technical drawings and set up machines in accordance with 3D CAD blueprint specifications
· Maintain quality assurance procedures and processes
· Maintain product specifications by observing machining operations, detecting malfunctions, and troubleshooting processes
· Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise
Requirements:
· Ideally 5+ years in CNC machining
· 3+ years programming experience; Edgecam Software experience required
· Must know FANUC control
· Must know G-Codes and M-Codes
· Knowledge of metals and materials including but not limited to steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
