Controls Engineer

Job Description

Advanced-Poly-Packaging, Inc. in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio is seeking a Controls Engineer to join our team!

Pay is dependent on skills and experience. General starting wages listed.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement control systems for automated equipment and machinery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software solutions.

Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for control system issues in the field.

Develop and maintain control system documentation, including schematics, specifications, and test plans.

Provide technical support and training to internal teams and customers.

Conduct system testing, commissioning, and optimization to meet performance and safety standards.

Work closely with the project management team to ensure timelines and specifications are met.

Qualifications:

5 Years Experience

IEC 61131-3 Programming Language (Structured Text)

Motion Control Experience (PLC Open)

Familiar with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts

Beckhoff TwinCAT Experience a PlusCompany Description

Packaging Machines and Service, Poly Film Extrusion, Poly Bag Printing and Conversion.

Full-time
