We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Network Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure, with a focus on Nexus and Catalyst switches. You will troubleshoot network issues, optimize performance, and ensure secure and efficient data communication across the network.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and deploy network solutions, including Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous uptime.
Manage and maintain network security protocols and resolve vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
Perform regular network testing, updates, and patching to enhance performance and security.
Document network configurations, including Nexus and Catalyst configurations, and maintenance procedures.
Provide support for network issues related to VLANs, STP, and other Cisco-specific configurations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in network engineering or administration, particularly with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst series switches.
Proficiency in networking protocols, routing, switching, and VPNs.
Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches.
Familiarity with firewalls, load balancers, and network monitoring tools.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent, with a focus on Cisco technologies, are a plus.
