We are looking for a highly skilled Analog Electrical Engineer with expertise in high-frequency circuit design and electromagnetic simulation using Ansys HFSS. You will be responsible for the design, simulation, and validation of analog and RF circuits used in [industry—e.g., wireless communication systems, radar, medical imaging, etc.]. This role combines deep analog design knowledge with practical simulation and testing skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop analog and RF circuitry including filters, amplifiers, impedance-matching networks, and transmission lines.
Use Ansys HFSS and other simulation tools to model and optimize electromagnetic performance of components (e.g., antennas, PCBs, interconnects).
Perform signal integrity and EMI/EMC simulations and troubleshooting.
Collaborate on PCB layout to ensure high-frequency signal integrity and correct grounding/shielding strategies.
Conduct lab measurements using VNA, spectrum analyzers, and other RF test equipment to validate designs.
Document simulation setups, design decisions, and test results.
Work with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and systems engineers to ensure integrated product performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
3+ years of experience in analog and RF circuit design.
Proficiency with Ansys HFSS and other EM simulation tools (e.g., CST, ADS, SIwave).
Strong understanding of analog/RF design principles: S-parameters, return loss, crosstalk, impedance control.
Hands-on experience with PCB design and RF layout practices.
Skilled with lab test equipment: Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs, etc.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in antenna design and optimization.
Familiarity with high-speed digital signal interfaces (e.g., DDR, SerDes) and SI/PI concepts.
Knowledge of industry standards (FCC, CE, ISO, etc.).
Experience in MATLAB, Python, or other scripting tools for data analysis.
