Responsibilities: The Controller will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, preparing and presenting financial reports to the CEO and Board of Directors, and developing operating budgets. This position will also manage the audit process and oversee accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems. Other key duties include supervising accounts payable and receivable, as well as establishing and maintaining internal controls.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
CPA certification
10 years of experience in nonprofit accounting is required
Strong analytical thinking, multitasking abilities, and leadership skills
Expertise in Excel and accounting software are crucial for success in this role
