A qualified candidate will have:
Five (5+) plus years of experience in an automated paint line serving the automotive manufacturing industry
Three (3+) plus years of experience in a supervisory role
Hands-on experience and proven results utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement tools
Knowledge of robot operation to include basic maintenance trouble shooting and programming PLC’s
Knowledge of and full operational ability to trouble-shoot and perform basic repairs of conveyor, oven, paint- booth, water-wash, and AMU
Maintenance of equipment, guns, pumps, regulators, flow meters, and color stacks
Understanding of the color change process and flushing process
Full understanding of the paint process from loading parts to inspection of defects
Strong verbal communication skills including speaking before groups of customers or employees
Must demonstrate leadership skills and have interpersonal skills/demeanor to motivate the staff and build trust with the workforce
