Job Title: Help Desk Technician II
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT technician to join the Help Desk team, providing technical support and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires a skilled professional with at least two years of IT support experience. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Active Directory, printer management, hardware/software troubleshooting, IP phone systems, computer imaging, deployment, and project management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Active Directory Management: User account administration, group policies, security permissions, troubleshooting.
Printer Management: Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Hardware & Software Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform system updates.
IP Phone Systems: Configure, troubleshoot, and provide user support.
Computer Imaging & Deployment: Create and manage system images, deploy new computers.
Project Management: Assist in system upgrades, implement new technologies, document progress.
User Support: Provide technical support through various channels, educate users on best practices.
Documentation: Maintain IT system records, create user guides.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Occasionally requires weekends or after-hours work (5%-10%)
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of IT support experience.
Proficiency in Active Directory administration.
Experience managing and troubleshooting printers.
Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with IP phone systems.
Experience with computer imaging and deployment.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Education & Certifications
A degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience and certifications will be considered:
CompTIA A+
CompTIA Network+
ITIL Foundation
CompTIA Security+
Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
Physical Requirements
Extended periods of sitting, typing, and working at a computer.
Frequent handling of IT equipment.
Occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
