KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for an IT Support Technician: helpdesk / desktop support, Windows, MS 365, Entra ID, etc.
The IT Technician is responsible for the comprehensive support of all of day-to-day IT needs. The scope includes hardware, software, network security, web presence, and telephony systems. The IT Technician will ensure all employees have the right systems and access to perform their jobs effectively. Additionally, the IT Tech will help identify ways to drive efficiency or cost savings by optimizing or better leveraging new and existing technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
Setting up and supporting employee IT equipment and network access
Designing training programs and workshops for staff
Conducting regular system audits
Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
Manage, review, and assess IT vendors
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
Requirements and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
Firm grasp of IT infrastructure and operations best practices
Compensation depends on experience but is typically $24-28/hr W2.
