Carolina Radiology is a leading provider of professional radiology services in South Carolina. They offer a wide range of imaging services, including breast imaging, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), interventional vascular, interventional neuroradiology, PET/CT imaging, lung cancer screening, and nuclear medicine.
Carolina Radiology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our physician-owned radiology practice in beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in healthcare finance and accounting. This role is critical to our practice, ensuring financial integrity, strategic planning, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do:
Oversee all financial operations of the practice, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and reports to the management team and physician owners.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Manage the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure financial stability.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve financial performance.
What You’ll Need:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a healthcare or radiology practice.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and healthcare regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
