About the Role:

The Controller is responsible for overseeing all the financial aspects of the business. The Controller will manage, train and supervise a team of direct reports and report to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

Communicate and enforce accounting practices and procedures within the department, with vendors and customers

Build annual and monthly budgets

Track P&L and Cash Flow

Financial Planning & Analysis

Identify gaps in accounting process and implement best practices and tools

Solve day-to-day accounting specific questions and statement questions

Prepare weekly AR/AP reports

Communicate with vendors and customers to resolve issues regarding payments, questions, disputes or escalating past due accounts

Lead month end close

Account reconciliations

Requirements:

10+ years of Accounting Experience

5 years of Management Experience

5 years of Cost Accounting Experience

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting or Business

Successful managed a team of direct reports and helped grow and scale a team

Solid knowledge of fundamental AR/AP (purchasing, invoicing, cash receipts) operations

Proficiency with Quickbooks, Sage, Ariba, Excel and other accounting systems

Demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

*This is an in office role 3x week.

Prior experience in the technology services industry

CPA certification

Customer service focused

Ability to work in a fast-pace environment, while being detail oriented
