Aircraft Modification Planner / Planning Manager
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Aircraft Modification Planner to support complex aircraft modification projects. If you have a background in FAA Part 145 and/or Part 21 environments and excel at keeping large-scale modification efforts organized—from task card sequencing to final delivery—this is an opportunity to play a key role in a fast-paced and highly technical aviation environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead the sequencing, planning, and tracking of aircraft modification projects
Build and maintain accurate project schedules for all aircraft-related planning efforts
Align production task cards with program/project contractual or engineering deliverables
Standardize naming conventions and budget tracking across systems including timekeeping, drawings, schedules, and production tools
Collaborate with Document Control to develop complete and compliant production work packages
Ensure proper closure of all task cards and execution of the redelivery package prior to return to service
Maintain revision control and documentation tracking—both electronic and hard copies—throughout the project lifecycle
Deliver weekly performance updates against project schedules
Drive long-term integrated schedule development through coordination across all departments
Ensure all customer delivery package documentation is accurate, timely, and complete
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of planning experience in a FAA Part 145 and/or Part 21 environment
Proficiency in ERP systems
3+ years of experience working with Office 365 and SharePoint
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Project / PWA / Project Online to manage schedules
Previous experience in Document Control, Planning, or Program Management
Preferred Experience:
Background in aviation manufacturing, MRO, or aircraft modification programs
Strong working knowledge of FAA compliance and aircraft redelivery processes
Familiarity with timekeeping systems and production software used in aerospace environments
