Our client, a personal injury law firm, seeks to add a Human Resources Specialist to join the team of the firm, headquartered in Springfield, MO. The Human Resources Specialist will have blended HR and Accounting responsibilities and will report to the Director of Operations. The HR Specialist will manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, invoicing, AP/AR, and other administrative activities.
Responsibilities
Serve as point of contact for leadership, employees, and external vendors with all HR functions including benefits and payroll
Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor laws
Perform data entry and ensure proper documentation
Pay invoices and process transactions
Provide support to the Director of Operations and team
Perform other clerical duties and assist with special projects
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree is required
2+ years of HR administration experience
2+ years of clerical accounting experience
Experience with YourPayrollHR or similar system preferred
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite
Excellent accuracy and a detail-oriented mentality
Strong communication skills
Professional and task oriented
