Job Summary:

Vacation Races is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This remote role will be responsible for all aspects of full-cycle accounting. This role will also assist with financial reporting and analysis. Reporting directly to the Senior Accounting Manager, the Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting the finance team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment that revolves around endurance events.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.

Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.

Process invoices and payments in a timely manner using QuickBooks Online and Ramp or Bill.com.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports and month-end closing processes.

Monitor and track expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial matters.

Support the Senior Accounting Manager with various accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of bookkeeping or relevant accounting experience.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required; experience with Ramp or Bill.com is a plus.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial record-keeping.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong communication with the team.

Passion for endurance events or the sports industry is a plus!
