JOB DESCRIPTION:
Polytek® Development Corp. is a leading manufacturer of mold making and casting materials. Polytek® is currently looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and extremely organized individual to join our rapidly expanding company.
Essential Job Functions:
Grow existing small and mid-size retail, distribution, and end-user accounts.
Research and define potential sales targets to evaluate leads and develop sales pipelines.
Coordinate, prepare, and participate in customer line review meetings, training sessions, and trade shows to promote sales.
Manage and serve as Key internal support for distributor network to achieve long-term partnership
Serve as a primary point of contact in matters relating to existing customer needs and concerns.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications and capabilities and applications.
Provide customers with product selection support and samples to promote sales.
Learn/understand product specifications, capabilities of Polytek products and methods.
Understand and stay current on competitive products.
Maintain positive customer interactions and relationships.
Serve as primary point of contact with various internal departments to fulfill customer requests, ensure timely fulfillment of orders, determine the status of orders and/or resolve problems.
Manage customer concerns and follow-up with customers to ensure satisfactory resolution of issues.
Suggests and implements ways to improve the service along the customer journey.
Answer customer service inquiries regarding status of order, tracking, inventory, etc.
Strong verbal/written communication; professional interactions with customers over email and phone.
The ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
Travel up to 30%
Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time and work on a computer.
Must be able to work in an office environment.
Must be able to talk, hear and see with vision abilities including close/near, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when entering manufacturing areas.
Education and Experience:
Must be able to understand, speak, write and read English.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business related discipline preferred.
3-5 years of experience preferred.
Experience with silicone, epoxy, and urethane chemistries a plus
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and highly proficient in using Excel and Powerpoint presentation software
Must have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving and time management skills.
Professionally developed business acumen a must.
