Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer

Compensation: $100,000. - $140,000. DOE + Comprehensive Benefits

BBSI has partnered with a well-established industrial equipment manufacturer based in the Inland Empire. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to serve as the central hub for engineering activity as the go-to technical expert, supporting production, driving improvements, and shaping future product innovations. You'll work cross-functionally with Production, Sales, Quality, and Purchasing to solve challenges and elevate operations.

Job Summary

As the Manufacturing Process Engineer, you’ll streamline operations, enhance product designs, and tackle production challenges head-on. From troubleshooting on the floor to driving cost-saving improvements, you'll collaborate across departments to deliver smart, efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain engineering documentation and CAD drawings in the ERP system

Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis

Optimize product designs for cost, performance, and manufacturability

Standardize components and reduce inventory complexity

Support customer-specific solutions and advise internal teams

Identify cost-saving alternatives and ensure regulatory compliance

Drive lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives

Support new product development and legacy updates

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or similar

5+ years in a manufacturing or mechanical product environment

Strong CAD and documentation skills

Experience resolving mechanical challenges and driving design changes

Excellent cross-functional communication and project coordination

ERP proficiency
