Location: Hybrid (Minimal in-office) HQ in the Mid-Atlantic

Compensation: $150K - $175K + Bonus

Are you an experienced accounting professional looking for a leadership role where you can make an impact?

An established industry leader is hiring a Controller to oversee financial operations and drive efficiency. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is key in managing full-cycle accounting, leading a team, and optimizing financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of local & offshore accounting professionals

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, audits, and financial reporting

Work cross-functionally with banks, auditors, and internal teams

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operations

Support the CFO by taking key responsibilities off their plate

What We’re Looking For:

10+ years of experience in accounting/finance (experience in a complex, fast-moving business is a plus)

CPA preferred but not required (strong experience will be considered)

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

Comfortable in a long-term Controller position—this role offers raises & bonuses but is not a fast track to CFO

Ability to work hybrid (1 day in-office per week or less)
