Industrial Controls Engineer/ Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled engineer to support global Corporate Real Estate Services (CRS) initiatives by leading security assessments, certifications, and engineering of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).

This role ensures secure deployment and lifecycle management of BMS platforms across enterprise offices, data centers, and campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the technical lead and SME for one or more BMS platforms (Siemens, Schneider Electric).

Interface with CRS, vendors, and security teams to align product roadmaps and compliance standards.

Conduct hands-on lab testing, information security reviews, and risk assessments of BMS technologies.

Support product evaluations, vendor engagements, and internal solution development.

Provide L3 engineering support and documentation including standards, test results, and best practices.

Ensure all solutions meet information security policies, governance, and integration with enterprise tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in IT, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years in engineering roles; BMS/ICS experience preferred.

Strong Windows skills; familiarity with UNIX/Linux.

Development experience (.NET, SQL); ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles; CISSP preferred.

Familiarity with PKI, Active Directory, MS SQL, and SDLC processes.

Additional Skills:

Strong communication and technical writing abilities.

Experience working with global teams and external vendors.

Independent, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset.

Proficiency in MS Office tools (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).

Hands-on experience with Siemens and Schneider Electric (EcoStruxure, PowerSCADA) platforms.
