Project Accountant

Our client is hiring for a Construction Accountant to join their team in Roswell. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in job cost accounting, particularly in the construction industry. The position involves supporting various accounting functions, including reconciliations, project billing, and cost allocations. The ideal candidate should be analytical, proactive, and possess strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities:

Assist with journal entries, including job cost adjustments and accruals.

Participate in monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.

Review the general ledger for accuracy and perform variance analyses.

Prepare and process project invoices, ensuring accurate and timely billing.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience in Construction Accounting, with a focus on job costing and project billing.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Excel and excellent communication skills.Background in the construction industry preferred.
