Data Science Manager

The Denzel Group, an award-winning search firm, has been chosen to work with an industry leader in Orlando on their quest for a talented Data Scientist Manager. In this technical role you will ultimately identify opportunities to improve business performance, as well as implement solutions. This is a “working” manager role, where you will be coding along side of the team as needed.

This role will require the candidate to be onsite 3 days/week.

Responsibilities

Hands on coding in SQL, R, and Python, as needed.

Identify opportunities to build new value-adding analytics, and integrate analytics and data science principles into existing areas.

Prepare complex financial models for various business areas.

Present metrics, results and conditions to key partners.

Integrate analytics, algorithms and models with BI tools using R or similar languages.

Participate in data governance.

Develop strategies and direction for the development and application of reporting.

Requirements

5+ years’ report development, analytics, report/process automation, and data science.

Leadership experience, and ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.

Strong competency coding with SQL, R languages.

Proven experience with NLP, Databricks ML, and OpenAI technologies.

Experience in MLOps and maintaining production code and assets.
