Application Packaging Engineer

Position: Application Engineer – Packaging Solutions

Purpose:

Drive tailored packaging innovations by collaborating across teams to meet customer needs with optimized, cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Collaboration & Sales Support

Partner with the sales team to understand customer needs and co-develop packaging solutions.

Support pricing evaluations and technical discussions.

Packaging Design & Development

Create innovative, cost-efficient packaging using CAD software.

Evaluate prototypes, ensuring they meet specs and performance standards.

Cross-Functional Project Execution

Coordinate with product development, manufacturing, procurement, and R&D.

Align packaging design with production capabilities and project goals.

Technical Expertise & Support

Troubleshoot issues and advise customers, sales, and internal teams.

Conduct feasibility studies considering cost, sustainability, and logistics.

Continuous Improvement

Monitor trends and tech advancements to drive innovation.

Propose enhancements to existing packaging systems.

Documentation

Deliver clear, accurate technical specs, reports, and drawings.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Experience

Strong background in packaging engineering; CAD expertise required.

In-depth knowledge of materials, machinery, and manufacturing processes.

Fluent English communication (written & verbal).
