We're are working with a leading space technology company pushing the boundaries of innovation and reliability in spacecraft systems. We're looking for a Senior Flight Software Engineer to join the growing team and play a key role in developing, testing, and refining our flight software stack.

Key Responsibilities:

Strong Software Development Skills in C++. Looking for individuals who can build out a full fledged application in support of software testing. There is quite the framework built / are building with thousands of lines of code.

Experience testing remote embedded hardware / software systems, with multiple processors / processes talking to each other.

Experience with standing up Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL/HITL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL/SITL) testing environments.

Some experience with developing automated testing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines from scratch, though this is not the primary focus.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of hands-on experience in software testing or quality assurance for embedded systems.

Strong C/C++ programming skills.

Experience with embedded test frameworks (e.g. GTest, CppUnit).

Solid problem-solving ability and attention to detail in complex hardware/software environments.

Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or TS/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in aerospace, flight software, or embedded systems engineering.

Proven experience in flight software development and testing across the full lifecycle.

Experience with advanced testing techniques such as performance, load, and security testing.

Familiarity with CI/CD processes in embedded environments.

A proactive mindset, with a history of driving improvements across software systems or processes.

Strong communication skills and a desire to collaborate across a flat, highly-integrated engineering team.
