Lead Full Stack Engineer

Location: New York City – Flatiron District (onsite role)

Compensation: up to $200K base salary + meaningful equity + full benefits

The Role

We’re looking for a full-stack engineer who's excited to look after the MVP and the team of Engineers, with the role growing as the business scales. You'll play a critical role in shaping product architecture, owning projects end to end, and helping push the platform to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement responsive, high-performance front-end experiences

Collaborate with AI engineers to bring intelligent features into production

Build and maintain scalable backend services

Deploy and scale applications in cloud environments (AWS/GCP), optimizing for cost and performance

Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and version control workflows

Contribute to system design, architecture decisions and team processes

Our Ideal Candidate:

2+ years of experience in full-stack development, ideally within fast-paced startups

Deep experience with TypeScript, Next.js or React, and a strong eye for UI/UX

Proficient with backend technologies like Node.js or Python and RESTful APIs

Comfortable deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP

Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

Experience with Docker, GitHub Actions (or similar), and modern DevOps practices

Bonus: Experience building SaaS products or integrating AI/ML models in production
