Job Title: Adult Programs Coordinator

Department: Education, Programs & Workforce Development

Reports To: Program Director

Salary: $30/hour

Hours: 30-40 hours per week (varies, depending on the project)

Job Summary:

As the Adult Program Coordinator for Columbus Fashion Alliance, you'll empower individuals to pursue careers in the dynamic fashion world. Collaborating closely with the Head of Programming & Education, you'll contribute to the planning and execution of our adult programming, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our organizational objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass curriculum development, fostering industry partnerships, participant engagement, program/workshop coordination, and leading job development efforts. This role will be a key part of our Ready to Werk Retail Leadership Program, which focuses on creating opportunities for professional growth within the fashion retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Work alongside the Head of Education & Programming to develop and implement the plan for adult programs and workshops, ensuring it reflects our organizational goals and adapts to industry trends.

Create, update, organize, and teach curriculum materials to support the program's evolving needs, including training modules.

Build and maintain strong professional relationships to build program awareness and program recruitment.

Build and maintain relationships with subject-matter experts to engage and support program participants in career planning, soft skills development, and goal-setting activities.

Attend and coordinate outreach events to assist with recruiting for adult programming.

Coordinate workshops, training sessions, and employer panels, while facilitating career fairs and networking events to connect participants with hiring organizations.

Track participant progress, providing ongoing support for job placement and monitoring post-program employment outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, business, fashion management, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in workforce development, program coordination, or related roles.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate program components.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with program participants.

Experience in planning and facilitating workshops for adults

Additional Desired Qualifications:

Adult education experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with industry partners.

Retail, e-commerce, or other fashion-related experience.
