Our client is a leading SaaS company, specializing in data security and AI, and they are seeking an IT Support Specialist. This role is based in LA but requires significant travel across the U.S.
Responsibilities:
Receive, unpack, and test new IT equipment (servers, network devices, etc.) at the Agoura Hills office.
Travel to various company office locations across the country (significant travel required).
Install and configure servers, including racking, cabling, and power connections.
Set up network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and other networking hardware.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on-site.
Conduct remote verification sessions (e.g., FaceTime, video conferencing) with on-site managers to confirm proper installation and functionality.
Maintain accurate records of equipment installations and configurations.
Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless IT operations.
Adhere to company IT policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT support, with a focus on hardware installation and configuration.
Strong understanding of server hardware, networking concepts, and cabling.
Experience with various operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux) is a plus.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
