Cyber Security Engineer

Qualification:

Minimum of 6 years of related experience

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.

Talents Needed for Success:

Minimum 6+ years of extensive all-round experience in the field of Cybersecurity with expertise in Container Security.

Experience in container technologies such as Docker, Podman and OpenShift.

Experience with Kubernetes Security, CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform tools, CI/CD security policies, GitOps/ Infrastructure as Code.

Proven experience with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Git and Jenkins)

Experience with microservices and Docker containerization.

Thorough understanding of container technologies with a detailed understanding of security standard processes, Cloud Security Alliance control architectures and related risks.

Detailed understanding of container security, architectures, best practices, and related risks.

Knowledge of industry leading container security tools and applicability.

Experience in AWS (Cloud security) is desired.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including executive communication to senior leadership with focus towards building bridges with key stakeholders.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve problems effectively and creatively while maintaining a high level of flexibility, professionalism, and integrity.

Industry certifications like CISSP, CCSP, Cloud certifications are preferred.
