Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer required to join a leading provider of ruggedized, high-performance computing solutions engineered for mission-critical applications across defense, aerospace, and industrial sectors.

The successful Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer will have experience across circuit, PCB and embedded systems. Also commutable or willing to relocate to Columbus, OH.

Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems including circuits, PCBs, power supplies, and environmental controls (cooling/heating).

Develop embedded hardware and firmware using PIC or similar microcontrollers.

Integrate and support customer hardware/software into system designs.

Ensure designs meet MIL-STD, EMI/EMC, and safety compliance standards.

Collaborate with manufacturing and sales teams on quotes, testing, and documentation

Act as a technical point of contact for client support and project updates.

Contribute to innovative, custom solutions requiring technical creativity.

Maintain engineering documentation and stay current on industry advancements.

Work cross-functionally to solve problems and improve system performance.

Follow company procedures and support other duties as assigned.

Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer Requirements

B.S. in Electrical Engineering required or other related degree

Previous experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer

10+ years of electrical design experience across circuit, PCB, and embedded systems.

Strong skills in schematic capture, PCB layout, and interconnects (PCIe, Ethernet, USB, I2C, etc.).

Experience with embedded hardware/software, microcontrollers, and high-speed digital design.

Familiarity with MIL-STD compliance, rugged systems, and power/RF design is a plus.

Knowledge of Intel/AMD processors, FPGAs, PLDs, and DSPs preferred.

Proficient in debugging, testing, and working in lab/manufacturing environments.

Strong analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Tools: Microsoft Office, Altium Designer (preferred), AutoCAD/ProgeCAD, C programming (a plus).

Commutable or willing to relocate to Columbus, OH
